The real lefty

There is this daily cartoon on a Korean newspaper called 'Closer Sangyong Lee.' It is about a pitcher who struggled for many years because his stuff is not that great, but he has a great command and an ability to analyze opponents. The cartoon can be found in here: http://sports.donga.com/cartoon/?cid=0100000204

A couple of days ago, there was this:

For those who can't read Korean, it states that for a natural righty who hits left, since his dominant hand pulls, he has better bat control and the hitting point is upfront. However, for a natural lefty, since his dominant hand is pushing rather than pulling, he has better power and the hitting point is in the back. Thus the former is weak against fastballs while the latter is weak against breaking balls.

Is this really true?

(to be completed)
